The mission of the project is to find agricultural produce that is not used for food today, to create connections that will allow it to be used and to turn it into nutritious food for different communities and audiences.

How does it work?

 

We have made connections with farmers from the north, our volunteers come to collect produce that has been rejected (mainly because of aesthetics), and if necessary help with farm work.

The used produce arrives at the logistics center in Tzipori where it is sorted by volunteers. The produce is mostly sold to the public and various communities that need support at a symbolic price of NIS 1 per kilo.

Chefs and food producers turn the produce into products or dishes, which are sold in the best restaurants in the north.

On Fridays, there is a "land for a person" market in Tsifori
